GOLFING IN EAST LOTHIAN

East Lothian is otherwise known as 'Scotland’s Golf Coast' and boasts 21 golf courses ranging from parkland to famous links running along a 30 mile stretch of stunning coastline.

Within a short drive one can play Musselburgh, Dunbar, North Berwick West, Luffness, Gullane, Archerfield, and of course neighbouring Muirfield, a regular venue for The Open Championship – East Lothian is the definitive golf holiday destination. Golf clubs and shoes can be hired from the Renaissance Club, which also stocks an extensive range of golf attire.

Within a few steps of your back door, you are on the 14th fairway of the Renaissance Club, home to the Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Opens 2019 & 2020.  The Renaissance Club is complete with spa, gymnasium and treatment areas, perfectly appointed locker rooms, beautiful bar and a fabulous dining experience, presenting a golfing experience guaranteed to last a lifetime. EXPLORING EAST LOTHIAN & BEYOND

In addition to golf, there are a huge number of activities available: the beach is only a two minute walk and this is the ideal spot for joining The John Muir Way (a 215 kilometre continuous long distance route which runs from Helensburgh on the west coast of Scotland to Dunbar on the East Coast); to surfing, wakeboarding or paddle boarding for those of a hardy nature! Whether organising a family party or gathering, a wedding or pre wedding celebrations, the Villas offer the perfect country getaway with activities for everyone.

The county’s castles and battlefields are soaked in rich regal history. There are gardens, museums and galleries, excellent restaurants, a Seabird Centre, The National Museum of Flight, Glenkinchie Distillery and many other attractions well worth a visit before you even consider all that Edinburgh has to offer, just 30 minutes away.
